Established in 2013, and having received investments from Annection and Jenson Funding Partners (London based VC), we have initially successfully focused on providing software solution for small to medium-sized events (50-500 delegates). Having recently teamed up with Simpli-Fi, including receiving strategic investment from them, not only we have expanded our product solution portfolio, but we are now ready also to tackle larger events and corporates, which is on our agenda for this year.

A recent dynamic partnership has created the opportunity for TapFuse to offer a unique all-encompassing connectivity solution for the events industry. We are looking for the right individual to take the “Better Connected Events” proposition to the event industry. We now seek a Business Development Executive to sell both event app software and Wi-Fi and connectivity solutions to the event industry.
As a Business Development Executive, you are the first point of contact for clients and partners. You are the one that sets the tone from the first engagement with our company and will provide both our clients and partners with the information and insight they need. This means you will be adept at selling the value, ethos and culture of our company with each client or partner.
In this role you will be responsible for setting appointments with the right decision makers at both direct clients and partners. You will be selling to event organisers, event agencies, global corporates and associations. This typically includes positioning our services to Marketing Directors, Head of Events, Event Managers, Heads of Digital, Heads of Technology and at times the Chief Technology Officer. You will use a variety of prospecting methods to qualify, garner information, build familiarity and book appointments daily. Prospecting methods could include phone, email, text, social media, video, content and in-person events.
We do competitor research to ensure that we maintain our competitive and sustainable advantage. If successful in this role, you will have the opportunity to become a fully-fledged Business Development Manager.

TapFuse are a software development company, specialising in the event sector and offering a fully customisable Event Management and Engagement Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) which brings attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, presenters and event organisers closer together through digital awareness, collaboration, engagement and the ability to share rich content, all in real time. Our focus has been on the small and medium sized events 50-500 delegates, targeting professional event companies and associations that host multiple events per year. We are now looking to expand our offering into the larger events and corporate markets.
